The President of the Norwegian Parliament, Olemic Thommessen, paid an official visit to Romania June 22-23. He was accompanied by a delegation of parliamentarians from various Norwegian political parties. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the dialogue between the Norwegian and the Romanian parliaments, as well as expressing Norway's support for the democratic progress in Romania.

Minister of EEA and EU affairs, Mr. Vidar Helgesen visited Romania April 14 – 15. Mr. Helgesen met with Prime-Minister Victor Ponta, with Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu and Minister of EU Funds Marius Nica. He also visited projects funded by Norway to help reduce social and economic disparities in Romania.
