Private initiatives to be supported under EEA and Norway Grants

On October 13, Norwegian companies with operations in Romania participated in the already traditional NORTEAM Meeting organized by the Norwegian Embassy, in Bucharest. Representatives of about 20 Norwegian companies had the opportunity to exchange views and share experience by using the Norteam event as an information and interaction platform.

Supras Consult has become a limited liability company, registered in both Norway and UK. The name has accordingly changed to Supras Consult Ltd. The business model has, however, not changed (for details, please see the website www.supras.biz). An opportunity to register an affiliate company and set up an office in Romania has unfortunately not yet arisen.

“Romania, 20 years after communism, does not have a unified and complete cadastral map and the current registration system is sporadic and the predictions to complete systematic land registration at country level by 2020 are not able to generate a real and solid country development in European context”, Mr. Ionut Savoiu, Managing Director at BLOM Romania, said.
