The two companies BlomInfo and Geonet have merged into the Norwegian owned BlomInfo-Geonet S.R.L., which has 145 employees and is a leading company in Romania within cadastre, land surveying and digital mapping services. It has offices in Constanta, Bucharest and Targoviste.

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has established a EUR 30 M credit facility for different projects in the Danube Delta aimed at improving the environment. A workshop, organized by the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority in cooperation with NIB,  took place in Tulcea on 22-23 July.
